During Kidney Cancer Awareness Month in March, the team at Urology Specialists is working to educate our patients and community members about kidney cancer, which is among the 10 most common cancers in the U.S. In 2023, it is estimated that there will be more than 80,000 new cases of kidney cancer.

Sioux Falls, SD – During National Cancer Prevention Month in February, Urology Specialists reminds everyone to speak with a urologist about their individual risk for urologic cancers and whether screening is recommended. Due to the recent pandemic, cancer screenings saw a dramatic decrease.
World Continence Week is June 20-26
This world continence week, the team at Urology Specialists wants patients to understand that they don’t have to live with incontinence. About 1 in 6 U.S. adults struggle with bladder incontinence, while about 1 in 12 U.S. adults reported symptoms of bowel incontinence in the past 30 days.
